Taiwan actor Rhydian Vaughan narrowly escaped wedding disaster yesterday.
The 28-year-old star and his bride Jessie Hong reportedly suffered major anxiety after realizing that Typhoon Megi would tear across Taiwan uncomfortably close to their wedding banquet date yesterday.
The couple officially tied the knot in a simple courtroom ceremony back in June, and their wedding banquet took place yesterday at Tienmu White House in Taipei.
Fortunately, the weather was mostly calm yesterday, although the outdoor banquet was delayed by an hour, due to decorating difficulties caused by a soggy lawn.
Wedding guests included actress Gwei Lun-mei, actor Joseph Chang, actor-director-screenwriter Doze Niu.
The couple welcomed the birth of their son earlier this year.
