South Korean drama “Doctors” debuted in Taiwan on Monday as one of the most-watched Korean drama in its time slot.
The TV series stars Park Shin Hye as a headstrong teen who grows into a compassionate doctor with the help of her mentor and love interest, played by Kim Rae-won.
The show had already been generating buzz before its official debute on TV here in Taiwan, and on Monday night, the series drew a total of 380,000 viewers.
As the Apple Daily reports, the first show averaged 0.87 in ratings, and its highest ratings moment was when Park delivered a high-flying kick to her costar Kim, when numbers peaked at 1.23.
