South Korean girl band member Chou Tzuyu and a TWICE bandmate have released their own version of the oddball song “PPAP” (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen).
In a video posted on the group’s social media today, the 17-year-old star from Taiwan and her bandmate Son Chaeyoung sit in a dimly lit room, and attempt to lip sync the tune, struggling to keep a straight face.
The song is originally performed by Japanese comedian Kosaka Daimaou, and quickly went viral after it was posted in August this year, even getting a share and a “favorite video on the internet” caption from popstar Justin Bieber.
