For this episode, I chat with Jamie Lin, the founder of Appworks Ventures, a Taipei-based super angel fund specializing in startups in the consumer internet space. Having seen more than 1,200 startups go through Appworks’ programs, Lin and I discuss some of the trends in terms of smartphone apps, blogs, websites and social media, as well as the startup and online publishing environment in Taiwan. We also chat about the benefits of blogging, habits of successful innovators and the types of paradigm changes that need to happen here on the island.
