International Community Radio Taipei in conjunction with the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan last week hosted a panel of high profile experts from across the political spectrum for a preview of the upcoming local elections, to be held on Saturday November 29, 2014.

The roundtable discussion aired on ICRT FM100 this Tuesday November 4, 2014 at 9pm.

Moderated by ICRT’s morning news anchor and Taiwan editor Gavin Phipps, the panel featured speakers Shen Fu-hsiung, political and economic commentator, Joanna Lei, the CEO of thinktank Chunghua 21st Century and Joseph Wu, the Secretary-General of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

Panelists discussed and analyzed the various races, the candidates, their election prospects and the implications for the political climate –business and trade – depending on the outcome.
