Hong Kong singer-songwriter Jacky Cheung has announced an upcoming world tour, with concerts in Taiwan set for the month of February.
The crooner with 57 albums under his belt is reportedly set for 4 performances on the dates of the 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th, at the Taipei Arena for his “A Classic Tour”.
But reports from the Apple Daily say concert organizers applied for a window of two weeks at the downtown venue, leaving open the possibility that additional performances could take place if demand is high.
Cheung is generally considered one of the “Four Heavenly Kings” of Cantopop, and is the first singer with non-Taiwanese citizenship to receive Taiwan’s Golden Melody Awards in 1998 for “Best Mandarin Male Singer”.
