Lots of people around the world don't have enough food to eat.

That's really sad, right? So many people are hungry … and then they get sick

They need more food!
Hmm… where can we get more food? Where does food come from?
Well, we can grow more food … we can grow more vegetables like carrots and
tomatoes ... and we can get more animals for food … like more chickens …

But there's a problem! Vegetables and chickens and cows and pigs need space
… and we don't have much space! 空間都不夠啊
Bugs are small! They don't need much space. And they are healthy. Bugs are
good for you.
You can cook the bugs … and make a bug hamburger!
Bugs actually taste good. Some bugs even taste sweet!
Cool, yeah? Sweet bugs!
Eating bugs is a good idea that can help people. 可以幫助人類.

See Thru Mask for Deaf from Taiwan

Many people who can't hear use "sign language". 聽不見的人，會用手語來溝通。

Sign language uses hand signs to mean different things. But people who can't
hear also need to see people's mouths.

Our lips and our mouths help show our feelings… and sometimes you can see
what a person is saying even if you can't hear it.

Many people who can't hear watch people's mouths, because sign language
sometimes isn't enough to understand feelings!
有時候手語無法完全表達情緒，還需要讀唇語才行。

But here's the problem: Masks! Do you wear a mask every day? I do. They help
protect us from Covid-19.

But with a mask, no one can see your mouth~! How can someone who can't hear
see a mouth behind a mask?
因為疫情需要戴口罩，這些聽不到的人看不到嘴巴怎麼辦？

Well, some very smart Taiwanese people worked together and have now invented
a mask that lets you see the mouth!

Wait! You mean a hole in the mask? That's not safe!

the mouth area...

Because it's see-through, people who can't hear can still see the movements
of other people's mouths!

Sofa Bikes for Old People and Disabled

Hi, everyone. Do you like riding a bike for fun? I do. I really enjoy
cycling. That's another name for bike riding... "cycling".
"Cycling"也是騎腳踏車，我很喜歡騎車！

Lots of people like cycling. But some people can't do it. Some people are too
old to ride a bike anymore. Some old people are very weak. Also, some people
are not old, but they are disabled.
有一些人太老，也有一些人身體有障礙，騎不動腳踏車了。

It is hard for them to go anywhere. They might get lonely and sad.
很多老人跟行動不便的人因為出門困難，常常覺得寂寞難過。

There is a group that can help all these people. It's called Cycling Without
Age. Cycling Without Age has many volunteers. These volunteers give old
people and disabled people rides on bikes.
一個名叫「騎車無年齡」的團體有許多志工，會騎車載人去兜風。

This is a great, free service.
這個服務是免費的。

The volunteers can take them to a park. Or they can take them to a beautiful
forest.
志工可以帶他們去公園或是森林逛逛。

The bikes they use are special. They have three wheels. They are like a "sofa
bike." Two people can sit on chairs in front of the bike. They don't have to
pedal. They just sit and relax. Another person sits behind them and does all
the work. That is the volunteer.

There is a Cycling Without Age group in about 50 countries around the world.

First Black US Supreme Court Judge

A judge is a very important person. A judge makes decisions about important
things, like new laws.
法官要做出很多判決。

But there is one group of 9 judges in America called the 'Supreme Court'.
They make all the final decisions.
美國最高法院有九位大法官，負責做最終的判決。

They are the top judges in America.

For a long time, only men were Supreme Court judges. But that's not fair,
right? Women should be judges too!
有很長一段時間，大法官都是男性。這樣不公平，女性應該也可以擔任這個職位才對。

And, for a long time, most of the men were white people. But that's not fair
either!

America has white people, black people, Asian people, Native American

New Doll Has a Hearing Aid

We use our ears to hear many things, like music, animals, and of course,
talking.

But many people cannot hear. So how do they talk with other people?
耳朵聽不見的人，要怎麼跟別人溝通呢？

One way is with sign language. People can use their hands to talk! For
example, they can touch their mouth to say thank you. They can wave their
hand to say goodbye. This is called "sign language".
其中一種方法是用手語！譬如說，用手碰嘴巴代表謝謝，揮手可以代表再見。

In fact, today is International Day of Sign Languages!
今天是國際手語日！

You can try it too. Put your hands on your heart. Do you know what this
means? This means "love". 把你的手放在心上，意思就是「愛」。

Another way people can hear is with a hearing aid. This is a machine people
put in their ears to help them hear. Many people use one.
另一種方法是用助聽器。

Now there is even a doll with a hearing aid! This doll was made to show kids
that it is okay to use a hearing aid.

Today is International Day of Sign Languages, so let's remember that people
