Flooding Reported in Southwestern Taiwan

Heavy rainfall caused flooding in parts of Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan and Kaohsiung yesterday. The flooding affected train services, and power supplies, and some roads became impassable. The Taiwan Railway Administration says 11 trains out of Chiayi suffered delays due to flooding and low visibility. Some 2 thousand passengers were affected by those delays.
