Hollywood star Tom Cruise worked the red carpet and charmed screaming fans in Taipei last night, for the Taiwan premier of his latest film “The Mummy”.

The 54-year-old actor brought his signature megawatt smile to Miramar Cinemas in Dazhi District, and spent over 2 hours signing autographs and posing for the press and public.

Cruise says he is thrilled to visit Taiwan for the fourth time and expressed hope that moviegoers will enjoy his new action-horror film.

Co-stars Sofia Boutella and Annabelle Wallis and the film’s director Alex Kurtzman also made the rounds at Miramar.

Cruise wrapped up the evening by saying that he will return to Taiwan, and would also be open to filming a movie on the island.

“The Mummy” is scheduled to hit theaters in Taiwan on June 9th.
