Pop singer Hebe Tien is facing a $150,000 NT fine, after going overtime on the last night of her concert series in Taipei.
The 33-year-old member of girl group S.H.E. added an extra encore at the end of her “If PLUS” show last night, after around 10 thousand audience members refused to leave the Taipei Dome.
The bonus song caused the concert to end at 11:13 pm, past its originally scheduled 11 pm close.
According to Taipei Dome regulations, that delay results in a fine of $150-thousand NT.
After hearing the news, Tien says she is willing to pay the fine, and says making fans happy is the most important.
