Up-and-coming girl band “GFriends” is set to visit Taiwan for the first time ever.
The six-member group will have a meet-and-greet session with fans at the Taipei International Convention Center on October 1st.
The newcomers, Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji, debuted early last year and have been collecting awards ever since, including “Best New Female Artist” at the 2015 MelOn Music Awards.
GFriends gained widespread attention and praise for their professionalism in September last year, when group members fell 9 times while performing on a wet stage, and persevered to finish the set.
Now, organizers say the 2000 tickets for their upcoming fan meeting in Taiwan were all snapped up within a day of becoming available.
The girls have promised to high-five every single fan at the event, and have also hinted at a “surprise” in store.
