Model and new mom Hannah Quinlivan got in touch with her artsy craftsy side in preparation for her daughter’s upcoming 1st birthday in July.
Mrs. Chou posted photos on social media yesterday, detailing the process of handmaking her daughter’s birthday party dress out of netting and tulle.
Quinlivan says that she’s become addicted to DIY (do it yourself) projects, and jokes that being such an indecisive person, she may have to prepare three dresses, like she did for her own wedding.
For Hathaway’s grey, pink, and black gown, Quinlivan says she used softer tulle on the inside to ensure that the dress is comfortable, and used stiffer tulle on the outside for volume.
