HBO Asia and TTV to offer live broadcast of the entire award program

Movie buffs in Taiwan are eagerly awaiting the 87th Annual Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. HBO HD (channel 226 in Taipei area if you have HD service from your cable provider) will start airing the arrivals of the most glamorous film stars at 8 A.M. Monday (2/23) Taipei time with exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage. TTV (channel 8), one of Taiwan’s free TV channels, will start its live broadcast at 8 A.M. as well.

The walk-down of the red carpet will be followed by the Awards ceremony, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris this year, at 9:30 A.M. on both channels. HBO plans to screen the arrivals and the awards again at 7:30 P.M. the same night, while TTV will do it at 9 P.M. Monday night with Chinese subtitles.
