English-American actress Lily Collins will be making her first visit to Taiwan after being named as one of the presenters of this year’s Golden Horse Film Festival.

Organizers of the festival say Collins will take the stage with Taiwan actor Bo-lin Chen (陳柏霖), who is perhaps best known for his role in the TV drama In Time With You (我可能不會愛你), co-starring Ariel Lin (林依晨).

Collins is the daughter of English musician Phil Collins and his second wife and is known for her role in the films The Blind Side, Mirror, Mirror and as Clary Fray in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, based on Cassandra Clare’s best-selling novel City of Bones.

Previous Golden Horse honorees Ethan Juan (阮經天), who received the Best Leading Actor award in 2010 for his role in Monga, and the 2013 Best New Artist Taiwanese singer and actress Yao Yao (郭書瑤) will also present together.

Other award presenters include Tony Yang (楊祐寧), who is expected to present an award with actress-singer Michelle Chen (陳妍希), the lead actress in Giddens Ko’s film You Are the Apple of My Eye (那些年，我們一起追的女孩).

KANO producer Wei Te-sheng (魏德聖) and Paradise in Service (軍中樂園) director “Doze” Niu Chen-Zer (鈕承澤) will present frequent collaborator Jimmy Huang (黃志明) with the award Outstanding Taiwanese Filmmaker of the Year, while Sun Yueh (孫越) will present the Lifetime Achievement Award to his long-time friend Tien Feng (田豐).

The 51st Annual Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards will be held on Saturday, November 22 at the National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei. It will be broadcast live on TTV, with the red carpet beginning at 5:30 pm and the awards ceremony at 7 pm.
