A recent survey from Yes123 job bank says more than half of Taiwan’s employees feel tired at work, with mass communications and hospitality sectors the most heavily affected.

The results of the survey show that some 60.4 percent of respondents say they have suffered extreme fatigue that has affected their mental and physical states.

52.6 percent of office workers who complained about severe fatigue said they often feel pain in the neck and shoulders, as well as waist and back pain.

Some 50.4 percent said they often feel depressed, and 24.8 percent said they often suffer insomnia.

The survey also found that Monday is the day when most office workers said they often feel tired and 2 p.m. is the time when many of them are at their lowest ebb.
