American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey is due to arrive in Taiwan on Saturday October  25 for her concert Sunday night at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei.

This is her first visit to Taiwan in 16 years.

Organizers say she will perform her trademark songs “Hero”, “Always Be My Baby” and hits from her newly released album Me, I am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse.

Carey is expected to touch down at four o’clock Saturday morning at the Taoyuan International Airport in a private jet together with her three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

She will then check into the Regent Taipei Hotel, which has turned a room within her suite into a children’s playroom.

Organizers say 80% of the tickets for this one-and-only concert have been sold.

Carey’s “The Elusive Chanteuse Show” will begin at 7:30 pm Sunday.
