Chances are you don’t know his name, but you probably know his work. Famed illustrator, painter, TV/movie producer, and toy designer Gary Baseman has opened his “The Door is Always Open” exhibition at Taipei’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).

The exhibition features over 500 works spanning across three decades of Baseman’s career. For the exhibition, MOCA has been transformed into a house-like environment where guests can sit upon sofas or at the dining table and explore the unique world of Baseman’s work.

And for those that don’t know, Gary Baseman was the illustrator for the popular board game “Cranium.” He’s also done work for The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, Time, and Rolling Stone. Aside from that, he’s also a well-known vinyl toy designer. You can check out more of his work on his official site.

“The Door is Always Open” will be around till August 24th so be sure to check it out before it’s gone! For more details, visit MOCA’s website.
