Graphic artists, voice actors and animators from Taiwan and Japan will gather in Taipei on August 7th for the opening of the 2014 Comic Exhibition.

According to the Taipei-based Chinese Animation and Comic Publishers Association, 24 artists are so far set to participate in the exhibition’s activities and book-signing events and more are expected to sign up in the coming weeks.

Along with featuring animators from Taiwan and Japan, Disney will be taking part in the annual exhibition for the first time this year.

Over 60 publishers are expected to set up around 530 booths, and organizers say they hope the number of visitors will surpass 600 thousand and beat last year’s record attendance of 582 thousand.

The exhibition, now in its 15th year, will run until August 12th at the Taipei World Trade Center.
