The 2014 World Cup Brazil (世界盃足球賽) is scheduled to kick off early Friday morning Taipei time, and viewers in Taiwan can follow every match on Elta TV (愛爾達體育台).

Elta TV says it will start airing the opening ceremony at 2 a.m. on June 13th and then the first game, Brazil vs. Croatia, immediately afterwards.

The sports station will broadcast all 64 games, and in the 8 cases where two games happen at the same time, Elta will use two channels to air them.

Viewers can watch the HD Elta sports TV via Chunghwa Telecom’s Multimedia on Demand (MOD) service, which also provides video-on-demand for viewers to choose any recorded game and watch it anytime.

In addition to Elta, Era-TV (年代, Channel 50) and its subsidiary Much TV (Channel 38) will also broadcast the World Cup games, from June 13th to July 14th.
