This is the inaugural addition of HereSay, a new show by ICRT featuring spoken word performances from right here in Taiwan.

We are featuring performances from the Taipei Story Slam event in March.

During the event storytellers were asked to prepare a 7-minute story based on the night’s theme: coming home. All of the storytellers were told their story had to be true, it had to be from personal experience, and had to be told from memory, so no scripts allowed.

ICRT is looking to partner with spoken word performance groups in Taiwan with consistently high quality performances. We’re mostly focusing on English language performances, but we’d consider performances in Mandarin as well.
