I first came across Rodrigo y Gabriela quite a few years ago while browsing my local library back home in the states. The band is a duo from Mexico who specialize in fast paced, rhythmic guitars, and I have to say that listening to their music is really energizing.

It’s been nearly five years since they’ve released anything new, but now they’ve got a new album titled 9 Dead Alive. You can also check out and download their latest EP titled The Soundmaker EP for free at Noise Trade, a site that I tend to frequent from time to time for new music.
