Dear loyal listeners, avid readers and Internet denizens,

Thank you for visiting our blog. I’ve been looking forward to launching this blog ever since I joined ICRT. When it finally became a reality on May 8th, 2014, I was so excited that I managed to break the site within two hours of it launching. I was also so indecisive about what the first post should be that practically everyone else jumped the gun and dealt with that for me by posting their first entries. All that goes to say that I am very glad that it has finally taken off.

In fact, this blog launched a day before my birthday, and the office celebrated both its birth and mine with a massive balloon bonanza.

So yes, this is how we do birthdays at ICRT, and yes, I worked out of my balloon cave for the rest of the day.

A little about me – I’m one of the news anchors you might hear when you flick on your radio in the afternoon. I try my best to make your commute a little less painful during rush hour, as well as join Papa Paul for Monday Movie Mania/Madness at 1:20 p.m. every week. News aside, I love movies, TV, music, books and so on, so expect to see from me a lot of posts about entertainment replete with pop culture references.

As this blog is still a little baby, there will be good days, and there will bad days. We ask that you please bear with us while we work out the kinks of how to best cater to you – our listeners and readers. We’re here to serve you. Although it may seem like we’re the ones doing all the talking on the radio, propagating our messages across the airwaves, we’re listening. Help us better inform and entertain you by leaving us a comment, sending us your suggestions or even tweeting us @ICRT100, and together, we’ll boldly go where no man has gone before. LLAP.
