Canadian powerhouse singer Celine Dion has announced dates for two concerts in Taipei.
Speaking from Las Vegas, where she stars in the most successful concert residency of all time, the 49-year-old star says she will perform at the Taipei Arena on July 11th and 13th.
When questioned by reporters about whether she would sing her “Titanic” hit, “My Heart Will Go On”, the Canadian star jokingly rolled her eyes, saying every time she hears the song’s flute intro, she thinks to herself “On no, it’s that song again!”
But she also says that she would not want to disappoint anyone with her song list, and hints that audiences can expect to hear a lot of familiar old favorites.
This year marks the first time Dion is returning to Asia since her 2008 “A New Day” tour, and she will perform in Tokyo, Macau, Singapore, Jakarta, before staying 7 nights in Taiwan, then traveling on to Manila.
