The rose garden at the Shilin Official Residence in Taipei city is in full bloom.

The Parks Office says they have installed a new drainage system in the park and replanted 1,600 roses, including 24 species of very large tea roses and 23 species of shrub roses.

There are plum trees as well with plum blossoms blooming.

The rose garden is open to the public free of charge, from 8 AM to 5 PM every day.

The official residence where former President Chiang Kai-shek used to live, opens from 9:30 AM to 12 PM, and 1 PM to 5 PM from Tuesday to Sunday.

Admission to the residence is 50 NT if you’re a Taipei city resident, and 100 NT for visitors from other cities.
