Japanese comedian Pikotaro, who spawned the hit song “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen” is visiting Taiwan for a flash performance.
The 45-second-long “PPAP” song went viral after it was posted online in August this year.
It hit number 77 on the U-S Billboard Hot 100, and was certified last month by the Guinness World Records as the “Shortest song to enter the Billboard Hot 100”.
Pikotaro lands in Taiwan this Friday, and is scheduled for a series of events, including a performance in Taipei.
