A survey of Taiwan mothers indicates that Taiwanese-Japanese actor and singer Takeshi Kaneshiro would be the top dream partner to share a free trip with on Mother’s Day.

The survey conducted by online hotel booking service Hotels.com places Hong Kong actor and singer Andy Lau as second, while Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je was a surprise third.

Ko places ahead of Japanese actor and singer Kimura Takuya and U.S. actor Brad Pitt.

The survey of Taiwan’s mothers on their views of Mother’s Day gifts was conducted to coincide with Mother’s Day, which falls on May 10-th this year.

The survey found that over half of the mothers interviewed said they hoped to get a trip as a present.

The destinations mothers preferred most was Tokyo, followed by Taiwanese cities, Paris and Dubai.

The survey also found that nearly 80 percent of mothers said if they were to get a trip as a Mother’s Day gift, they would most want to go with their families, and least want to spend the journey together with their fathers- and mothers-in-law.
