Several Taiwan celebrities are speaking out against cyberbullying, as the response grows to the death of model and TV personality Cindy Yang.

Yang’s brother revealed Thursday, that an apparent suicide note found near Cindy’s body said she had been a victim of cyberbullying.

Taiwanese pop diva Jody Chiang says that she was saddened by the news, and is urging other young adults to value their lives.

Taiwanese singer-songwriter Christine Fan also wrote a Facebook post, calling for positive influences and for people to desist from cyberbullying.

Taiwanese scriptwriter and director Wu Nienjen, and singer and actress Kay Huang have also spoken out against cyberbullying.
