Bestselling author Brandon Sanderson will  visit Taiwan next February to meet with fans at the 2015 Taipei International Book Exhibition.

Sanderson’s Taiwan publisher says the American author of the popular Mistborn and The Stormlight Archive series will attend three events on February 14.

The author will talk about his work and take questions from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Taipei International Book Exhibition.

After the Q&A session, Sanderson will sign autographs at the Cite Publishing pavilion at Exhibition Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center, where the fair will be held.

Later in the day, Sanderson is expected to meet with Gray Tan, president of Grayhawk literary agency.

Sanderson’s novels have been praised for their impressive characters, plausible worlds and well thought out rule-based magic systems.

Words of Radiance, the second book in The Stormlight Archive series, debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list earlier  this year.

Sanderson said his 2012 visit to the National Palace Museum in Taipei inspired him to write the fantasy story “The Emperor’s Soul,”  which won the 2013 Hugo Award for Best Novella.
