Celine Dion’s October concert in Taipei has been cancelled.

The cancellation of the concert follows the Canadian singer’s announcement that she is suspending all performances indefinitely to focus on her husband’s health.

Guang Hong Arts – the organizer for what would have been her first Taiwan concert – has confirmed Dion has canceled all nine concerts on her Asia tour.

The five-time Grammy Award-winning singer said on her official website that she is putting show business on hold to focus her attention on her husband Rene Angelil, who underwent surgery last year for a cancerous tumor.

A post on her official Facebook page broke the initial news of the concert cancellations, and Dion apologized to her fans and thanked them for their support.
