An Arctic Fox's Amazing Journey

Ahhh! Hmmm… my ice cubes are almost gone. 冰塊幾乎沒了...

Ice melts when it's warm, right? And when ice melts, it turns into water.

But did you know, the ice, just like in my glass of water, is melting?...

This has an effect on some animals too.

She traveled from Norway in Northern Europe, all the way to Canada in North
America! 3,500 kilometers!

The little fox walked on ice and crossed frozen seas to get there!

I hope she had some nice warm clothes... maybe a hat... 希望牠有記得穿外套,

They have their own thick, natural fur coat to keep them nice and warm.

But why did the little fox leave home? And why did the fox go so far away?

Scientists think it's because the fox's home is changing. It's melting, just
like my ice cubes.. And It's melting because the earth is warming up… and
that's a bad thing… it means animals are losing their homes 地球暖化

But there is something we can do... We can help by saving energy! So when
you're not watching TV, turn it off! Leaving the room? Hit that light switch!

And when you throw away trash, please remember to recycle! 記得要省電.

Old Cell Phones, New 2020 Medals!

I love sports. I love to play sports … AND I love to watch sports!

Eating Bugs!

She Wins!

Hi everybody! You know … I really like my bicycle!

I think bicycles are amazing! Bicycles are easy, fun, good for you, and good
for the air! No pollution! 騎車不會有空氣汙染的問題 I ride my bicycle, um,
everywhere! I ride my bicycle to go shopping, to the park, to meet my
friends, but I'm not a bicycle race winner! (laughs) Nope. I'm not like
Fiona!

Fiona is a young woman from Germany, and she won a super hard bicycle race!
She rode her bicycle a long way! 她是個年輕德國女生 .

Can you imagine riding your bicycle from Taipei to Kaohsiung? That's pretty

Walking Backward to Save the Forests

Hi Everybody!

A forest is a place with lots of trees! The trees are good homes for
animals!
Lots of animals need the forest! They live there!
很多動物都是住在森林，牠們以森林為家。
But people also need forests and trees!
(Laughs) No, people don't live in the trees … but the trees give us fresh
air! 人類也是需要森林，因為森林製造很多氧氣。
That's right! Trees help make the air we breathe! (Huge gasp of intake of
fresh air sound)

But, what if we cut down too many trees in the forest? No … trees … no ..
