For the first time, a Taiwanese TV drama will be aired in Latin America
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says “The Fierce Wife” will soon be broadcast on a total of 10 TV channels in 8 different countries.
The TV series, a big hit in Taiwan in 2011, stars Sonia Sui, Wen Sheng-hao, Chris Wang and Amanda Chu.
The drama will be dubbed over in Spanish for Latin American audiences and will debut in Nicaragua in late April.
The launch is a joint effort by the foreign ministry and the program’s producer, Sanlih E-Television station in Taiwan.
