Children’s rights activist and Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi said he is looking forward to his upcoming trip to Taiwan, where he expects to reunite with many young Taiwan volunteers he has worked with.

The Indian charity work leader will be in Taiwan next week for a 5-day visit, his second trip abroad since winning the Nobel Peace Prize in October.

The 60-year old founder of the Save the Childhood Movement or BBA, shared the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize with Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai.

Satyarthi says he is happy to be able to reunite with his “sons and daughters,” referring to the hundreds of young volunteers from Taiwan who have taken part in volunteer services at BBA over the years.

Satyarthi arrives in Taiwan next Wednesday, and will meet with President Ma Ying-jeou and other officials, as well as give two public speeches, one in Taipei and another in Hsinchu.
