The second trailer for The Imitation Game debuted over the weekend, and I wanted to bring your attention to this film.

I do this not only out of my love for Cumbie, or the Batch, as he likes to be known, but because this film is now being hailed as one of the best movies of the year and a serious Oscar contender for both Best Picture and Best Actor.

Cumberbatch plays British mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst and pioneering computer scientist Alan Turing, whose role in cracking Nazi Germany’s Enigma code was instrumental to the Allies winning World War II.

The film also stars a host of British actors Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Mark Strong and is directed by Mortem Tyldum with a screenplay by Graham Moore based on the biography Alan Turing: The Enigma written by Andrew Hodges.

The Imitation Game will be released in Taiwan on January 16, 2015, according to IMDb.
