The China Post is reporting that Jordan Belfort, the real life motivational speaker and former stockbroker portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street, will visit Taipei next month as part of his world tour.

According to local TV channel TVBS, seats to Belfort’s speaking event is in high demand, with front-row seats priced at least $300,000 NT.

The news channel also reports that Belfort will hold a meet and greet with VVIP ticket holders.

Organizers says tickets start at about $30,000 NT and $995 NT for students.

Belfort is a former Wall Street stockbroker who was convicted of fraud crimes related to stock market manipulation.

His misadventures were most recently documented in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, a film based on Belfort’s memoir of the same name starring DiCaprio as Belfort and featuring Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie and Matthew McConaughey.
