Typhoon Champi makes its way north, away from Taiwan

Land and sea warnings associated with Typhoon Champi are still in effect at
this hour ... as the storm continues to weaken and move away from Taiwan at a
speed of 20km/h.

Champi has shrunk to a radius of around 220km from 280km this morning.
Maximum sustained winds have fallen to 120km/h from 150.

Meantime, its cloud system has become more dispersed, with the Central
Weather Administration saying that rainfall has been diminishing since this
morning.
