Daniel Pearl World Music Day kicks off at Huashan
Posted on 2026-10-03 14:07:13
The Taipei edition of Daniel Pearl World Music Day is getting started at
Huashan Creative Park.

The free concert commemorates the life of Daniel Pearl, a journalist for The
Wall Street Journal who was kidnapped and killed while on assignment in
Pakistan in 2002.

Concerts around the world are held under the theme "Harmony for Humanity" to
celebrate Pearl's life every year.

Musical acts in Taipei this year include Seventh Sons, New New and Point 22.

The concert runs between 2 and 10pm at Huashan. The event is supported by the
Taiwan Foreign Correspondents’ Club.
