One worker dead, another injured after crane tipped over during building

One worker died and another was injured today, when a crane tipped over
during exterior wall cleaning at the Yilan Science Park.

The Yilan County Fire Bureau says it dispatched rescue teams from its Yilan
and Yuanshan divisions after receiving a report of the accident this morning.

One worker was found without a heartbeat and was rushed to a nearby hospital,
where he was pronounced dead.

The other remained conscious and was initially diagnosed with various
injuries, including a fractured femur.

The bureau says the cause of the accident being investigated by other
authorities.
