SEMICON Taiwan 2026 forum to expand to full-day format

SEMICON Taiwan's CEO Summit will be expanded into a full-day event for the
first time on Sept. 2, with discussions covering the technologies needed to
deploy AI at scale.

SEMICON's organizer said the expanded event will bring together executives
from major global technology companies and five key segments of Taiwan's
electronics supply chain.

Google Senior Vice President and Chief Technologist for AI and Infrastructure
Amin Vahdat will deliver the opening keynote, marking his first public
keynote address in Asia.

The association said an afternoon session will shift the focus to the
technologies supporting hyperscale AI development.

Guests at SEMICON will include executives from Microsoft, Micron, Broadcom,
Infineon, Meta and Nvidia.

An evening fireside chat will be co-hosted by executives from ASE and TSMC,
with panelists from MediaTek, Foxconn and Unimicron Technology Corp.
