Typhoon Dolphin updates

The Central Weather Administration has issued a maritime typhoon warning
covering the northern and northeastern waters of Taiwan.

Although the typhoon is weakening and is forecast to veer northwestward as it
approaches China, it is still expected to bring strong wind gusts and
torrential rains to parts of Taiwan.

Typhoon Dolphin is currently around 450 km northeast of Taiwan, traveling
roughly westward at 10-14 km/h.

Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an (蔣萬安) said partial floodgate control will be
implemented starting at 2 PM today, with parking along the red and yellow
lines around the floodgates in Wanhua, Datong and Shilin districts now open.

All traffic in *and* out of the floodgates will be blocked by 8 pm.
