TRA extends suspension of reserved-seat service to midnight

Taiwan Railways Administration says it will extend the suspension of all
reserved-seat trains on the western and eastern trunk lines until midnight.

The TRA earlier announced the suspension until 6pm.

Only local trains between Changhua and Chaozhou, between Hualien and Taitung,
and the Shalun branch line will operate normally.

The TRA advises passengers who reserved tickets on trains that have been
canceled that they can apply for full refunds for a year after the scheduled
date of departure.

A decision on train services between midnight and noon tomorrow will be
announced at 9pm.
