Accumulated rainfall to reach up to 400mm in mountainous areas

In the 24 hours starting this morning, mountainous areas are expected to accumulate the most rainfall, with Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, and Taichung City expected to see 250-400mm.
On the plains, New Taipei City and Hsinchu County are looking at 150-250mm.
The heaviest rain is expected to fall during the daytime today.
New Taipei City is expected to record the most rainfall in the period between July 9th and 12th.
Typhoon Bavi will push away from the island around midnight, with gusts declining from around 10 on the Beaufort scale -- that's up to around 100 km/h -- to 7-8 in most areas. That's between 50 and 75km/h.
