Matsu launches 2026 Glimmers in Matsu event series

Matsu is inviting travelers to participate in the 2026 Glimmers in Matsu
series.

The program highlights wartime heritage, Eastern Fujian culture, religion and
nature across Matsu's four townships and five islands.

It opened last month with Matsu's Grand Birthday Celebration at Magang's
Tianhou Temple, a pilgrimage site renowned for its sacred cave.

Coming up next month, visitors can join the Laser War Game, held at sites of
historic battles.

In early autumn, the Tipsy Music Festival will bring live music, local food,
products, and raffle prizes to the islands.

And the event series will end on New Year's Day, when visitors climb Mount Bi
to Welcome the Sunrise.

Tourism officials say the series reflects a long-term effort to promote Matsu
as a destination worth visiting across the seasons.
