Taiwan Central Bank raises 2026 economic growth forecast to 9.45%

Taiwan's central bank has raised its economic growth forecast for this year
to 9.45%, reflecting continuing robust demand for AI equipment.

9.45% is more than 2 percentage points higher than the central bank's last
forecast ... in March.

The central bank said the global AI wave has become a key growth driver in
Taiwan, which has become a global AI supply hub.
