Rain to ease across Taiwan Saturday, intensify again early next week

The Central Weather Administration says rainfall is expected to ease across
most of Taiwan today ... although localized heavy rain is still forecast
along the west coast

The CWA said today will likely be the "calmest day of the coming week," as a
low-pressure system gradually moves away.

A new weather front is expected to develop over southern China tomorrow ...
that will bring more rain early next week.

Central and southern Taiwan may experience scattered afternoon thunderstorms
today, while other regions are expected to see mostly cloudy skies with
localized afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
