MOEA promotes alliances among SMEs, with NT$1.5m subsidies

The Ministry of Economic Affairs has announced a program that provides
subsidies to small and medium enterprises that band together to expand their
overseas opportunities.

The ministry's SME Administration said it's accepting applications for the
program until April 10. It's encouraging small businesses to form alliances
to leverage each other's strengths to integrate product, service, and brand
resources.

In particular, applications are encouraged to include adoption of AI and
digital technology tools to better understand the needs of international
customers.

Each alliance should comprise at least 10 companies, including one company
that has a track record of overseas expansion serving as the lead.
