TSMC CEO CC Wei says company's future isn't only dependent on AI

While TSMC's 2025 revenue and profits were supercharged by demand for
advanced wafers used for AI, its non-AI wafers performed strongly as well.

At TSMC's fourth-quarter earnings call, Chairman and CEO CC Wei said consumer
electronics are still an important part of the fab business.

Wei added that higher demand for smaller processors didn't mean the end of
its 6- and 8-nanometer chips.

The chipmaker has said it's accelerating production capacity to meet
increased demand for its smaller, more powerful semiconductors.
