Temperatures rebound, but another northeasterly monsoon on the way

Independent meteorologist Daniel Wu says we can expect to see sunny skies across the western half of the island today and tomorrow.
Daytime highs will be around 30-degrees islandwide, but the mercury will drop overnight and into the early mornings.
According to Wu, weak northeasterly monsoon will begin to affect parts of the island on Friday and into Saturday.
That weather front is expected to bring localized showers on the windward side of the island push temperatures down in the north.
A stronger northeasterly monsoon is expected to move south and affect the island from next Monday through Wednesday - and that will push the mercury down across the north.
