Taipei couple and son indicted for drugging, beating Indonesian caregiver
Posted on 2026-11-04 14:05:13
The Taipei District Prosecutors' Office has indicted a Taipei couple and
their son for allegedly beating, drugging and sexually molesting an
Indonesian caregiver in their home following a dispute in September.

Prosecutors says the female caregiver had been hired to help care for the
husband's elderly mother.

According to the indictment, the couple become unhappy with how the caregiver
was doing her job and attacked her inside their home in early September.

The husband molested the woman at knifepoint and the caregiver was also
forced to drink a beverage spiked with sedative.

Police went to the house three days later after the caregiver's friends
reported her missing and found her unconscious and with cuts and bruises all
over her body.

The son was arrested at the scene, while his parents were summoned for
questioning.

All three were later detained.
