Fuel surcharges on international flights operated by Taiwanese airlines will rise again from November 8th due to rising oil prices.
The Civil Aviation Administration says surcharges for short-haul flights will rise by up to $40 US dollars, that's the equivalent of $1,300 NT.
Those for long-haul flights will rise by up to $104 dollars, which is around $3,400 NT.
Short-haul routes cover most destinations in Asia, while long-haul routes include Europe, the Americas, India and the Middle East.
The C-A-A said the increases follow a rise in international aviation fuel prices, and domestic airlines have been asked to clearly explain the increases to passengers.
