Haiti's government has announced new election dates.
According to the provisional Electoral Council the first round of general elections will be held on July 18, with a second round on October 4.
Haiti has not held elections in over a decade and is run by an unelected prime minister.
The presidency has been vacant since President Jovenel Moïse was killed in 2021.
The upcoming ballots comes as police and soldiers, backed by over 2,000 troops from El Salvador, are fighting gangs.
Experts have questioned the role of Salvadoran troops in Haiti, and Doctors Without Borders has called for the protection of civilians amid ongoing violence.
